How much does a Mexico tour cost?
Escorted small group tours of Mexico sold by Mexico Vacations run from $550 USD to $3,515 USD per person, with an average across all 29 itineraries of about $1,900 USD. Price tracks length far more than luxury: the 4-day trips sit at the bottom of the range and the 20-day cross-country routes at the top. Every price includes hotels, daily breakfast, an English-speaking guide, coach transport between cities, basic travel insurance and an arrival airport transfer. International flights are not included. Bookings are held with a 20% deposit.
What is the cheapest Mexico tour?
The cheapest tour is Mexico City, at $550 USD per person for 4 days. Cost per day falls as trips get longer, so the cheapest tour is not the best value per day — the longer routes cover far more ground for proportionally less money. Solo travelers should add the single supplement ($275 USD on this itinerary) for a private room.
What is the shortest Mexico tour, and the longest?
The shortest is Mexico City at 4 days ($550 USD). The longest is Mexico: From the Pacific to the Caribbean at 20 days ($3,515 USD), which crosses the country from Mexico City to the Caribbean. Most travelers book something in the middle: 8 to 13 days is the range that pairs Mexico City with either Oaxaca or the Yucatán without rushing.
Which Mexico tour is best for 10 days?
For a 10-day trip, Colonial Mexico is the best-value option at $1,205 USD per person for 9 days, visiting Mexico City, El Oro de Hidalgo, Mina de las Dos Estrellas, Tlalpujahua. Ten days is enough to combine Mexico City with one major region — either south to Puebla, Monte Albán and Oaxaca, or east to the Yucatán and Chichén Itzá — but not both. Pick the region first, then the itinerary.
Which Mexico tour is best for two weeks?
For roughly two weeks, Mexican dream covers 13 days at $2,050 USD per person, taking in Mexico City, El Oro de Hidalgo, Mina de las Dos Estrellas, Tlalpujahua, Pátzcuaro. Fourteen days is the point at which a single trip can realistically include Mexico City, Oaxaca and Chiapas, or push all the way through Palenque and the Yucatán to the Caribbean coast.
What is included in the price of a Mexico tour?
Every itinerary on this page includes hotels, daily breakfast, an English-speaking guide, coach transport between cities, basic travel insurance and your arrival airport transfer. Some itineraries add specific lunches or dinners and guided site entries — the day-by-day on each tour page lists exactly what is scheduled. International flights are not included. Tours are operated by Europamundo Vacations, a JTB Group company, and have guaranteed regular departures.
How does booking and the deposit work?
Booking is held with a 20% deposit. Your card is authorized for that amount but nothing is charged immediately: Mexico Vacations places the booking with the tour operator, and the deposit is only captured once the operator confirms, usually within 48 hours. If the booking cannot be confirmed, the authorization is released in full. Departures inside 60 days require payment in full at booking.
