Day-by-day itinerary

1Mexico City

Welcome to Mexico! You'll be met and transferred to your hotel, leaving the rest of the day free to relax or wander the capital.

2Mexico City — Teotihuacan — Mexico City

Start at the Plaza of the Three Cultures, then head to the vast archaeological site of Teotihuacan, with admission included. A visit to a local artisan center follows, and on the return you'll step inside the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Back at the hotel, the remainder of the day is free.

3Mexico City — Querétaro

The morning is yours; after lunch a transfer takes you to the bus station for a scheduled coach to Querétaro. Once there, enjoy strolling through a city rich in charming plazas, baroque churches, colonial buildings, cobbled streets, colorful facades, a historic aqueduct, gardens, and markets.

4Querétaro — Tequisquiapan — Bernal — Querétaro

Discover the Pueblo Mágico of San Sebastián de Bernal, loved for its postcard charm and talented textile artisans. Continue to Tequisquiapan, celebrated for its mineral spas and colonial-style streets. The included guided excursion also brings you to San Patricio Winery and the Bocanegra Cheese Cellar, complete with a tasting of regional wines.

5Querétaro — Hacienda Atongo — Querétaro

Enjoy a free morning in Querétaro. In the afternoon, a theatrical experience awaits at Hacienda Atongo, where a guided walk unfolds alongside costumed characters from a bygone era. You'll sip a refreshing drink crafted with the estate's own wine before returning to Querétaro.

6Querétaro — Tula — Puebla

Set off for Tula, once the capital of the Toltec civilization, where you'll tour the archaeological site with admission included. You'll then arrive in Puebla, a historic city renowned for its colonial architecture and animated zócalo.

7Puebla — Monte Albán — Oaxaca

Journey to Oaxaca, arriving in the late morning. You'll explore Monte Albán, the mightiest of the Zapotec cities perched above the Oaxaca Valley, with admission and a guided tour included. Free time afterwards lets you savor this captivating city of Zapotec heritage.

8Oaxaca — San Pablo Villa de Mitla — Tuxtla Gutiérrez

Travel through mountain scenery and charming villages to the Pueblo Mágico of San Pablo Villa de Mitla. After crossing the Oaxacan sierras, an included lunch precedes your arrival in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, the capital of Chiapas.

9Tuxtla — Sumidero Canyon — Chiapa del Corzo — Zinacantán — San Juan Chamula — San Cristóbal

Navigate the majestic Sumidero Canyon by boat, then take a walk through the colonial town of Chiapa del Corzo. Later you'll visit Zinacantán and San Juan Chamula, villages where deep Mayan traditions endure. You'll finish in the beautiful colonial city of San Cristóbal de las Casas with free time.

10San Cristóbal — Grutas del Mamut — El Arcotete — San Cristóbal

From San Cristóbal, explore the Grutas del Mamut caves and the scenic El Arcotete Tourist Park. The outing wraps up at Rancho Nuevo Ecotourism Park, set in a serene conifer forest offering horseback riding and lovely hiking trails. Afterwards you'll return to San Cristóbal de las Casas with free time to explore independently.

11San Cristóbal — Moxviquil — San Cristóbal

Today's excursion visits Moxviquil, a community centered on sustainability education, with activities like birdwatching and hiking on offer. You'll also tour the Maya Medicine Museum before returning to the hotel, where the rest of the afternoon is free.

12San Cristóbal — Tuxtla Gutiérrez Airport

A transfer delivers you to Tuxtla Gutiérrez International Airport for your most convenient flight to Mexico City (airfare not included). This marks the end of our services.
