Day-by-day itinerary

1Mexico City

Welcome to Mexico! On arrival, a transfer brings you to your hotel, and the rest of the day is free.

2Mexico City — Teotihuacan — Mexico City

Begin at the Plaza of the Three Cultures, then travel to the majestic archaeological site of Teotihuacan. You'll pause at a local artisan center before returning to the city to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. After heading back to the hotel, the remainder of the day is at leisure.

3Mexico City — Puebla

The morning is free, and after lunch a transfer brings you to the bus station for a regular coach to Puebla, with a hotel transfer on arrival. The afternoon is yours to explore this charming city, including its impressive cathedral, the historic Palafoxiana Library, the famous candy street, and the antiques of the Callejón de los Sapos.

4Puebla — Ex Hacienda Chautla — Val Quirico — Puebla

An included excursion takes you to Ex Hacienda de Chautla, celebrated for its English-style castle set on an artificial lake surrounded by forest. You'll also visit Val Quirico, where artisan shops and cozy cafés invite a relaxed stroll. Return to Puebla with free time before your overnight stay.

5Puebla — Cholula — Cheese Route — Atlixco — Puebla

Today's included excursion to Cholula covers San Francisco Acatepec, Santa María Tonantzintla, the San Gabriel Convent, the Royal Chapel, Soria Park, and the Virgin of Los Remedios Sanctuary. You then stop in Chipilo, famous for its cheese production, and continue to Atlixco to explore its historic center. The day ends back in Puebla with free time.

6Puebla — Monte Albán — Oaxaca

Travel to Oaxaca, arriving late in the morning, and visit Monte Albán, the grandest of the Zapotec cities perched above the Oaxaca Valley, with admission and guided tour included. Afterwards, return to Oaxaca with free time to wander this fascinating Aztec-rooted city.

7Oaxaca — San Pablo Villa de Mitla — Tuxtla

Wind through mountains and charming villages to the Pueblo Mágico of San Pablo Villa de Mitla. After crossing the Oaxacan sierras, enjoy an included lunch before arriving in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, capital of Chiapas.

8Tuxtla — Sumidero Canyon — Chiapa del Corzo — Zinacantan — San Juan de Chamula — San Cristobal

A boat trip carries you through the soaring walls of the Sumidero Canyon, followed by a walk through Chiapa del Corzo. You then visit Zinacantan and San Juan de Chamula, villages steeped in Mayan tradition, before arriving in the beautiful colonial city of San Cristobal de las Casas with free time.

9San Cristóbal — Grutas del Mamut — El Arcotete — San Cristóbal

Set out from San Cristóbal to explore the Grutas del Mamut caves and the scenic El Arcotete Tourist Park. The journey finishes at Rancho Nuevo Ecotourism Park, nestled in a tranquil conifer forest offering horseback riding and scenic hiking trails. Return to San Cristóbal with free time to explore at your own pace.

10San Cristóbal — Moxviquil — San Cristóbal

Embark on an excursion to Moxviquil, a learning community focused on sustainability where you can enjoy birdwatching and hiking. A visit to the Maya Medicine Museum follows. You then return to the hotel with the rest of the afternoon free.

11San Cristóbal — Tuxtla Gutiérrez Airport

A transfer brings you to Tuxtla Gutiérrez International Airport for your most convenient onward flight to Mexico City (flight not included). This marks the end of our services.
