4Pátzcuaro — Morelia — Cuitzeo del Porvenir — Guadalajara

Depart for Morelia, the capital of Michoacán, before pausing in Cuitzeo del Porvenir, which sits beside Mexico's second-largest lake. The journey then continues west to Guadalajara, the colonial capital of Jalisco and the acknowledged birthplace of mariachi music and tequila.

5Guadalajara — Tequila — Guadalajara

The day opens with a visit in Guadalajara that includes entry to the Cabañas Hospice, a UNESCO World Heritage site. From there you'll travel to the picturesque town of Tequila, with time to stroll and enjoy lunch.
