Day-by-day itinerary

1Mexico City

Welcome to Mexico! An included transfer carries you to your hotel, and the rest of the day is free.

2Mexico City — Teotihuacan — Mexico City

Begin with the Plaza of the Three Cultures, then continue to the imposing archaeological site of Teotihuacan. On the way back, stop at a local artisan center before visiting the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. After returning to the hotel, the remainder of the day is free.

3Mexico City — Querétaro

Enjoy a free morning, then after lunch transfer to the bus station for a regular coach to Querétaro. Spend time strolling this beautiful city, filled with charming plazas, baroque churches, colonial buildings, cobblestone streets, colorful facades, a historic aqueduct, gardens, and markets.

4Querétaro — Tequisquiapan — Bernal — Querétaro

Visit the Pueblo Mágico of San Sebastián de Bernal, admired for its picturesque charm and talented textile artisans, then continue to Tequisquiapan, known for mineral spas and colonial-style architecture. The excursion includes a guided visit to the San Patricio Winery and the Bocanegra Cheese Cellar, with a tasting of regional wines.

5Querétaro — Atongo — Querétaro

The morning is free in Querétaro. In the afternoon, enjoy a theatrical experience at Hacienda Atongo, featuring a guided walk alongside costumed characters from another era and a refreshing drink made with the estate's own wine, before returning to Querétaro.

6Querétaro — Tula — Puebla

Depart for Tula, once the capital of the Toltecs, where the archaeological site is visited with admission included. Continue to Puebla, a historic city celebrated for its colonial architecture and lively main square.

7Puebla — Monte Albán — Oaxaca

Arrive in the Oaxaca area in the late morning to visit Monte Albán, the greatest of the Zapotec cities set high above the Oaxaca Valley, with admission and a guided tour included. Then return to Oaxaca, where free time lets you explore this fascinating city with Aztec roots.

8Oaxaca — San Pablo Villa de Mitla — Tuxtla Gutiérrez

Travel through mountain landscapes and charming villages to the Pueblo Mágico of San Pablo Villa de Mitla. After crossing the Oaxacan sierras, an included lunch is served before you arrive in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, the capital of Chiapas.

9Tuxtla — Sumidero Canyon — Chiapa del Corzo — Zinacantan — San Juan de Chamula — San Cristóbal de las Casas

Cruise by boat through the soaring Sumidero Canyon, then enjoy a walk in Chiapa del Corzo. Later, visit Zinacantan and San Juan de Chamula, towns with deeply rooted Mayan culture, before arriving in the beautiful colonial city of San Cristóbal de las Casas with free time.

10San Cristóbal — Ocosingo — Agua Azul — Misol Ha — Palenque

Travel through the mountainous interior of Chiapas, a region traditionally inhabited by Mayan communities, with a stop in Ocosingo. Entry to Agua Azul National Park is included, along with lunch, followed by a walk among the waterfalls of Misol Ha. Continue on to Palenque, where dinner is included.

11Palenque — Campeche

Explore the remarkable archaeological site of the Mayan city of Palenque, then travel through Tabasco toward the Gulf of Mexico. Arrive in Campeche, a port city renowned for its colonial buildings and formidable fortifications, with dinner included.

12Campeche — Mérida

Continue into Yucatán and arrive in Mérida, the state capital known for its blend of colonial and Mayan heritage. The afternoon is free to discover the city at your own pace, and in the evening an included transfer takes you to the Zócalo to explore and dine. Overnight stay in Mérida.

13Mérida — Izamal — Chichen Itzá — Río Lagartos

Explore the State of Yucatán, beginning in the 'magical town' of Izamal. Then visit Chichen Itzá, the most important vestige of the Mayan civilization, with a typical Mayan lunch included. Afterwards, travel to the fishing village and Biosphere Reserve of Río Lagartos.

14Río Lagartos — Valladolid — Cenote Choj Ha — Cancún

In the morning, a boat trip glides through mangroves teeming with birdlife. Continue to Valladolid with its pleasant historic center, then spend the afternoon at the Choj Ha cenote, surrounded by jungle and featuring a dry cave and the interior lake of a humid cave. Arrive in Cancun at the end of the day.
