Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Mexico City followed by a transfer to the Basilica of Guadalupe. In the afternoon, drift through the canals of Xochimilco aboard a flower-adorned trajinera boat. The evening features a transfer to the lively Plaza de Garibaldi, where dinner is included.

Travel to the picturesque Pueblo Mágico of El Oro de Hidalgo, then tour the Mina de las Dos Estrellas, showcasing the area's mining heritage. Continue to Tlalpujahua, famous for its handmade Christmas decorations, before finishing in Pátzcuaro, one of Mexico's most beautiful colonial towns.

Head for Morelia, capital of Michoacán, then stop in Cuitzeo del Porvenir on the shore of Mexico's second-largest lake. The journey continues to Guadalajara, Jalisco's colonial capital and the birthplace of mariachi music and tequila.

A city visit in Guadalajara includes entry to the UNESCO-declared Cabañas Hospice. You then travel to the town of Tequila with time for a stroll and lunch, plus an included distillery visit to see how the famous spirit is made. Return to Guadalajara for free time.

Arrive in Guanajuato and take an included afternoon city tour of this stunning UNESCO World Heritage university city, threading its steep hillsides, narrow streets, and churches. A cable car ride to the El Pípila viewpoint delivers a sweeping panorama.

Cross the mountains to Dolores Hidalgo, where the fight for Mexican independence began, then visit the Sanctuary of Atotonilco and UNESCO-listed San Miguel de Allende. In the afternoon, arrive in the lively colonial city of Querétaro.

Depart for Tula, the ancient Toltec capital, where admission to the archaeological site is included. Continue to Puebla, a historic city famous for its colonial architecture and animated zocalo.

Reach the Oaxaca region in the late morning and visit Monte Albán, the grandest of the Zapotec cities overlooking the Oaxaca Valley, with admission and a guided tour included. Return to Oaxaca with free time to wander this fascinating Aztec-rooted city.

Wind through mountains and charming villages to the Pueblo Mágico of San Pablo Villa de Mitla. After the crossing of the Oaxacan sierras, an included lunch awaits before arrival in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, capital of Chiapas.

A boat excursion navigates the impressive walls of the Sumidero Canyon, followed by a walk through Chiapa del Corzo. Later, visit the Mayan-tradition towns of Zinacantan and San Juan de Chamula before arriving in the lovely colonial city of San Cristóbal de las Casas, where free time awaits.

Set out from San Cristóbal to explore Las Grutas del Mamut caves and the scenic El Arcotete Tourist Park. The route continues to Rancho Nuevo Ecotourism Park, tucked into a tranquil conifer forest offering horseback riding and scenic hiking trails. Return to San Cristóbal with free time to enjoy the town.

Today's excursion visits Moxviquil, a sustainability-focused learning community offering activities such as birdwatching and hiking. You also visit the Maya Medicine Museum before returning to the hotel, with the rest of the afternoon free at your leisure.

A transfer brings you to Tuxtla Gutiérrez International Airport for your most convenient flight (not included) to Mexico City, marking the end of the tour's services.
