Welcome to Mexico! Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel, with the rest of the day free to relax or start exploring the capital.
Begin with the Plaza of the Three Cultures, then journey to the monumental archaeological zone of Teotihuacan. A stop at a local artisan center follows before you return to the city to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Back at the hotel, the rest of the day is at your leisure.
Enjoy a free morning, then after lunch a transfer brings you to the bus station for a regular coach to Puebla, with a hotel transfer on arrival. The afternoon is yours to discover this delightful city: its grand cathedral, the historic Palafoxiana Library, the famous candy street, and the antique-filled Callejón de los Sapos.
Today's included excursion visits Ex Hacienda de Chautla, famed for its English-style castle rising from an artificial lake ringed by forest. Continue to Val Quirico, a village of artisan boutiques and cozy cafés perfect for a leisurely wander. You return to Puebla with free time before your overnight stay.
An included excursion to Cholula takes in San Francisco Acatepec, Santa María Tonantzintla, the San Gabriel Convent, the Royal Chapel, Soria Park, and the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Los Remedios. Next comes Chipilo, a town renowned for its cheese-making, followed by the historic center of Atlixco. You return to Puebla with time free to enjoy the city.
Travel to Oaxaca, arriving late morning, then visit Monte Albán, the grandest of the ancient Zapotec cities set high above the Oaxaca Valley, with admission and a guided tour included. Afterwards you return to Oaxaca with free time to soak up this captivating city of Aztec roots.
Wind through mountain scenery and charming villages to reach the Pueblo Mágico of San Pablo Villa de Mitla. After crossing the Oaxacan sierras, an included lunch awaits before you arrive in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, the capital of Chiapas.
Board a boat to glide between the sheer walls of the spectacular Sumidero Canyon, then take a walking tour of Chiapa del Corzo. Later you visit the villages of Zinacantan and San Juan de Chamula, where living Mayan traditions run deep. The day ends in the beautiful colonial city of San Cristobal de las Casas, with free time to explore.
After some final moments in San Cristobal, a transfer brings you to Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport for an included regular flight to Mexico City. Here our services come to an end, hopefully leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
