The Whale Sharks are Non Threatening to humans. Actually, they seem to enjoy their interaction with the people that come to swim with them. They migrate to Holbox Island every May through September. Travel to their home in the Gulf Of Mexico aboard a 12 passanger boat captained by Licensed Experienced Captains and qualified Guides. Trips begin on Isla Holbox every morning between 7-8am where you'll be greeted by experienced staff. Once at Holbox you'll be able to enjoy the abundant sea & bird life found on the island. On a typical day in these waters you might see a School of Wild Dolphins, Flocks of Flamingos, Stingrays, Ibis, Egrets, Pelicans and many other fascinating creatures. Enjoy Complimentary amenities such as ICE COLD Water & Soft Drinks at your leisure. Once at the ocean you'll enter the water in Small Groups where everyone will have enough time of "Close" interaction with these Magnificent Animals. Full Snorkel Gear, Masks, Flippers, & Life-vests are provided to make your "In-Water" experience Safe & Comfortable, you may also bring your own gear.
